Punjab School Education Board was established in November 1969 enriching the School infrastructure and developing the School Education in the state of Punjab. The Vidhan Sabha amended the Board’s act in 1987 to grant is autonomy. The area of P.S.E.B. functions is very broad and it covers almost every step or stage of school education in Punjab.
